Specialised Training in Traffic Therapy for Licenced Psychotherapists
We are looking for new colleagues in the Cantons TG, GR, FR, VS, TI who would like to work part time as traffic therapists.

Traffic therapists do not yet have their own FSP title. Further training in traffic psychology for licenced psychotherapists is offered by the VfV-SPC and is a prerequisite for working as a traffic therapist recognised by the drivers and vehicle administrative authorities.
Prerequisite for further training as a traffic therapist:
Licenced psychotherapist or fulfilment of the equivalence criteria.
To become a traffic therapist, the following further training is required, which is offered by the VfV-SPC:

Introduction to traffic psychology in Switzerland from the VfV-SPC
(as of 2018: 16 lessons) -

Specialisation in the psychotherapy of traffic offenders:
1) 24 lessons in the form of observations in bfu courses, in individual therapies with recognised traffic therapists (VfV-SPC) or participation in intervision or supervision of VfV-SPC recognised traffic therapists
2) 8 lessons of observation with a VfV-SPC traffic diagnostician
3) 8 lessons of supervision with a traffic therapist VfV-SPC with supervisor status, including two supervised therapy sessions

Attendance of further training courses in the field of psychotherapy with traffic offenders totalling at least 8 lessons within 24 months. This includes the further training courses for traffic therapists, further training courses in traffic psychology, conferences

Proof of at least 16 lessons of intervision with at least one VfV-SPC traffic therapist (including at least three case presentations) or at least 8 lessons of supervision with a VfV -SPC traffic therapist with supervisor status of their own therapeutic work within 24 months
