Traffic Therapy

The aim of traffic therapy is to make you more aware of your personal characteristics and shortcomings as a driver as well as your attitudes and behaviour. Your personal causes and mistakes are dealt with and your quality of responsibility should improve. Traffic therapy helps you to get your driving licence back and keep it permanently - without committing offences again.
The traffic therapists work under a duty of confidentiality. Traffic therapy is not covered by the health insurance. You must pay for each hour in cash on the spot.
A session lasts 45-60 minutes. At the end of the traffic therapy, you will receive a written confirmation of the completed course. Even after the therapy, the traffic therapists are bound to confidentiality. Our aim is to work with you to restore your fitness to drive.

On the list below you will find all licenced traffic therapists in Switzerland. Register early, we are usually very booked.

Traffic Coaching

Traffic Coaching means traffic therapy while you are driving again. It is a measure to improve your liability to the traffic law. During a longer time usually once a month you have to take traffic therapy sessions. The aim is to consolidate your behaviour changes.

BFU/BPA/UPI Courses

The group courses of BFU/BPA/UPI help you to retrieve your driving licence. In case of a warning withdrawal of the licence attending a course reduces the withdrawal time. In case of a safety withdrawal the course helps to regain the licence.

There are four different courses available (in German and French):

  • FiaZ erstmals Auffällige - Kurs: A course for drink drivers - first time offence
  • FiaZ wiederholt Auffällige - Kurs: A course for drink drivers - repeated offences
  • Kurve Warnungsentzug - Kurs: Course for faulty drivers - warning withdrawal
  • Kurve Sicherungsentzug - Kurs: Course for faulty drivers - safety withdrawal
